<p>I have SuperDuper configured with Growl. If my backups fail, the Growl alert is set to be “sticky” and remain on the screen until I dismiss it. I’ve never even looked into whether it’s possible for a post-backup script to detect whether the backup failed. <p>Any chance you have written a script that will email you an alert if a smart back up fails? Sometimes you don’t notice a backup fails unless you launch an look at SD.</p>
