Is this really a problem? Really?

In case the sign on the door isn’t legible, it says…

Do not take Magazines, Newspapers, or Books into the restrooms

I saw this on my way out of the public library in Wilson, North Carolina (about 45 miles east of Raleigh) right after passing a woman sporting a badge and a gun sitting at the computer behind the Librarian’s desk.

Evidently they take this stuff seriously in those parts.
